Nextclinics solidifies growth by adding first northern european ivf clinic to its portfolio

Tallinn/Augsburg, 22 March 2019: NEXTCLINICS announces it will take control of 100% of F-Est OÜ, the holding company that owns Fertility Clinic Nordic; two ART facilities and a leader in egg and sperm donor program located in Tallinn, Estonia. This is NEXTCLINICS’ first transaction in Northern Europe, providing a third hub for its oocyte and sperm donor programs alongside existing centers in the Czech Republic and Spain. The addition of Fertility Clinic Nordic enlarges NEXTCLINICS’ geographic footprint and is expected boost the number of patients from the Scandinavian and Baltic regions, as well as incoming patients from Central and Western Europe. Fertility Clinic Nordic founder Dr. Jaanus Pikani and his entire management team have reinvested into NEXTCLINICS and will remain in leadership roles as well as manage the F-Est portfolio abroad. In less than two years, NEXTCLINICS has become a top 3 ART provider in Europe with 15 IVF clinics and sites in 8 countries across the continent. The valuation of the Fertility Clinic Nordic transaction will not be disclosed.

“We are dedicated to providing patients with the best experience possible. First and foremost, that means offering them the broadest possible options so they can select the best match for their families. This transaction greatly improves the diversity of our donor options. The Czech Republic and Spain are already two key egg and sperm donor hubs, and Tallinn will now become our third. It will serve the Scandinavian and Baltic countries, which make up approximately 5% of the European ART market,” explains Miroslaw Herden, CEO of NEXTCLINICS.

“For our organization, partnering with NEXTCLINICS offers extended exposure to Central and Western European markets, something that would have been otherwise challenging for an independent clinic. We anticipate growth from patients who are already NEXTCLINICS clients and will travel to Estonia for treatment not currently available in their home markets. We look forward to greater cooperation with the Czech and Spanish clinics with the ambition to continuously assist the growing number of patients who need our help,” said Dr. Jaanus Pikani, new CEO of NEXTCLINICS Estonia and NEXTCLINICS investor.
