  • Initiate business development including innovation development activities
  • Build strong relationships with business and innovation owners/investors to ensure NEXTCLINICS have a preferred position with potential sellers
  • Collaborate with the CEO, CFO and Regional Directors/other functional leaders (as appropriate) to build a deep understanding of all opportunities
  • Develop business cases including sensitivity and risk analysis, strategic rationale, and potential synergies if the group invests in the opportunity
  • Ensure that the Advisory Board and leadership team have a full understanding of the opportunity and risks associated through appropriate diligence (internal and external)
  • Work with the CFO to ensure funding is available and activated to enable investment into opportunities
  • Work with legal; tax and financial teams (internal and external) to complete and close the acquisition or investment
  • Ensure all post-closing actions; including earn out performance measures are tracked and completed, working with the CFO and/or other functional/operational leaders as appropriate
  • Prepare post investment review paper 12-24 months after closing, with comparison to expected outcomes and impact on overall group performance and strategy
  • Contribute to the strategic and annual business plans for the company and develop and maintain the 5-year Strategic planning model

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree is advantageous
  • A good knowledge and experience of M&A transactions
  • Proven experience business development and management
  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications
  • The ability to multi-task
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
